Dr. Cox is a Psychiatrist, mother, lover of nature and advocate of social justice. She has been practicing Psychiatry for 27 years throughout the western United States and has led nature-based psychological journeys for people in the canyons of SE Utah and jungles of Mexico. She served as the President of the Board of Directors of Birthing the Future, a Colorado 501(c) founded by Suzanne Arms, promoting natural childbirth and attachment parenting. 

Dr. Cox is deeply committed to promoting social justice and equality for the LGBTQ community as well as the BIPOC community. She is active in educating the public on the history of and issues facing these communities in an effort to raise awareness and acceptance. 

Dr. Cox practices in Temecula, CA as the owner of Inland Empire TMS and Chrysalis Psychiatry.
