Mood Disorder program with FREE TMS and/or Ketamine

Everybody gets the blues from time to time. Most of us bounce back from these low moods and return to enjoying our lives. For some people, however, the sense of sadness and hopelessness doesn’t dissipate, and it begins to affect how you think, feel, and act. When these feelings persist, it can be an indication of depression, a mood disorder that can interfere with daily life and that can lead to psychological and physical issues (pain).

Clear Mind Treatment has developed a new Mood Disorder Treatment Program which successfully deals with more complex and challenging cases of depression, anxiety, and pain.

Any Mood Disorder, as well as Treatment-resistant depression (TRD), is a term used in clinical psychiatry to describe a condition that affects people with major depressive disorder (MDD) who do not respond adequately to a course of appropriate antidepressant medication within a specific time.

At Clear Mind Treatment, we combine Psychological counseling with TMS and Spravato (a nasal form of Ketamine).

Psychological counseling (psychotherapy) by a psychiatrist, psychologist, or other mental health professional can be very effective. Psychotherapy combined with medication or another therapeutic option works best for many people. It can help identify underlying concerns that may be adding to your depression. Our program includes group and individual therapy along with other options.

TMS

TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) is becoming recognized as a valuable therapeutic option in treatment-resistant depression. TMS therapy is a noninvasive procedure that uses magnetic pulses—similar to those of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine—to awaken parts of the brain that are underactive in people who suffer from depression. TMS is safe and FDA-approved for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder. Additionally, TMS can help treat anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. TMS therapy is a pharmaceutical-free treatment. We recommend receiving TMS daily for about 4-6 weeks.

Spravato/Ketamine

In early 2019, the FDA approved Spravato™, an esketamine nasal spray designed to relieve treatment-resistant Depression. This is now an effective treatment for Depression, especially combined with therapy. This program is specifically tailored to each patient. Most patients begin with two Spravato treatments a week for the first month, followed by once-a-week treatments in the second month. After the second month of treatment, patients typically have a Spravato treatment once a week or once every two weeks, depending on their needs.
