Group Therapy Sessions

Our Program for Mental Health includes a structured group therapy program that can help you with the following:

Support and Recovery

Our Support and Recovery Groups focus on supporting, providing feedback, and helping each other through relating, displaying empathy, and understanding.

Interpersonal Process Groups

These groups focus on using peer groups as a means of healing. Our clinicians facilitate our Interpersonal Process Groups.

Problem-Solving

Cognitive restructuring is the primary method for change.

Skills Development

Develop skillsets related to group topics like Relapse Prevention and Communication skills.

Group Psychotherapy and Psychoeducation

For the most part, our group therapy is via HIPAA-compliant telemedicine (Zoom). According to the American Psychological Association, group therapy is an excellent way of getting support from your therapists and peers who are also going through similar experiences. These group ‘check-ins’ will include other people in the program. In the meantime, it may consist of evidence-based tools such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness training, psychoeducation, and hypnotherapy.
Individual Therapy
You will have an individual therapy session at least once per week via telemedicine. We may encourage you to consider having your family or significant other present for some therapy sessions.
