Tarzana, South Bay, and Santa Monica Ketamine Therapy, TMS and CBT.
This Program is Changing Lives. IOP level of treatment is 3 or more hours per day for 3 to 5 days per week.
We are not in network with any PPO insurance plans, but we can accept them as an out-of-network provider.
Our treatment is highly individualized and focuses on your specific needs! The individualized treatment program will consist of some or all of the following modalities, depending on your needs:
GROUP THERAPY
Group therapy can be an effective way to share experiences with others dealing with the same issues in the community. Group therapy sessions are kept small, typically less than eight people per group, and are 100% confidential.
We have several groups a day; morning and evening groups are available, also some mid-day groups. Please contact us for a group schedule. We encourage our clients to attend as many groups as possible; they play a crucial role in healing.
COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT)
CBT is one of the most well-researched methods of talk therapy. CBT involves becoming aware of negative, self-destructive, and maladaptive thought patterns and developing skills to help deter these. CBT is an active type of talk therapy whereby the individual works on attaining specific goals with their therapist.
DBT – DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOR THERAPY
DBT is another type of evidence-based talk therapy involving increased mindfulness, emotional regulation, resilience, and communication skills. Once learned, DBT skills can become helpful in many other facets of life.
TMS uses magnetic pulses to gently activate parts of the brain associated with depression and anxiety. TMS is typically administered five times per week for 4-6 weeks. TMS is both drug-free and FDA-approved.
KETAMINE / SPRAVATO / nasal or oral form
Ketamine (or name-brand Spravato) is an intranasal spray that can rapidly alleviate symptoms of depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and pain. Ketamine treatments could be done office or at home and administered and monitored closely by our medical team.
Neurofeedback allows individuals to train their brainwaves to combat maladaptive patterns and behaviors. A computer is set up to monitor these brainwaves, and we give individual feedback depending on what waves are produced. For instance, if an individual is anxious, their brainwaves will reflect this, and the computer may make a specific sound. The same may happen if someone is more relaxed. Over time, people can learn how to control their brainwaves and teach themselves how to regulate their brains.
MINDFULNESS
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is a modified form of cognitive therapy incorporating mindfulness practices such as meditation and breathing exercises. Using these tools, therapists teach clients how to break away from negative thought patterns that can cause a downward spiral into a depressed state so they can fight off depression before it takes hold.
VR THERAPY
Incorporating VR in therapy can increase the ease, acceptability, and effectiveness of treatment for anxiety. VR exposure therapy (VRET) permits individualized, gradual, controlled, immersive exposure that is easy for therapists to implement and often more acceptable to patients than in vivo or imaginal exposure.
EMDR – TRAUMA THERAPY
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is one of the most effective treatments available for PTSD.
EMDR therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.
HYPNOTHERAPY
Hypnotherapy is a type of mind-body intervention in which hypnosis creates focused attention and increased suggestibility in treating a medical or psychological disorder or concern.
