Introduction

For first responders, the line between heroism and trauma can be blurry. Firefighters and other first responders often experience traumatic events on the job, and if they don’t deal with these issues in a healthy way, they may end up suffering from PTSD, depression and maybe worse. Our program uses a combination of group, individual and skills coaching in addition to ketamine therapy to help firefighters recover from PTSD and other trauma-related issues.

For first responders, a fine line between heroism and PTSD

Firefighters, police officers, and other first responders can experience trauma on the job that leads to PTSD, anxiety, depression–and sometimes suicide. The first step in recovery is recognizing you have a problem. That’s where we come in: our specialized PTSD treatment program offers you a path to healing and hope for your future.

The challenge is to remain on the good side of that line.

We understand that this can be a difficult task for firefighters and first responders who have been exposed to trauma in the course of their work. The program helps firefighters recover from PTSD and other trauma-related issues, while also teaching them how to manage stress in their personal lives through physical fitness, meditation and movement therapies, while accommodating very challenging schedules. These tools help them stay working, while also providing mental relief so they can focus on their careers as well as enjoy time with family members or friends outside of work hours.

Our Staff

Our staff consists of licensed psychologists MDs, NPS and specialized technicians who specialize in treating first responders with PTSD or anxiety disorders. They have experience working with individuals who have been exposed to life-threatening situations such as fires, car crashes or shootings (among others). They are here for you if you need someone else’s perspective when trying something new–whether it’s learning new coping skills or getting a strategy to deal with stress of the job and the ghosts of the past.

Our program uses a combination of group, individual, and skills coaching, ketamine to help firefighters and first responders recover from PTSD and other trauma-related issues and accommodating hectic on-call schedules.

Our program uses a combination of group, individual and skills coaching to help firefighters and first responders recover from PTSD and other trauma-related issues. Additionally our specialized treatment program is based on the latest research on ketamine therapy for depression and PTSD.

Ketamine has been found to be very effective at treating depression in patients who don’t respond well to traditional medications or therapy. It’s also being used as an alternative treatment option for veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Our program also can accommodate difficult on-call schedules.

Firefighters who have experienced trauma need help recovering their sense of purpose and mission.

It’s important to remember that being a firefighter and first responder can be a great source of meaning and purpose. Firefighters are often called upon to help people in their worst moments, which can be an incredibly rewarding experience if you’re able to stay focused on what’s most important: helping others get through the trauma they are facing.

But it’s also important to recognize that there is a risk of becoming traumatized by these experiences–and that when this happens, it can leave you feeling disconnected from your sense of mission. The challenge then becomes finding ways to maintain or regain your sense of mission so that you can continue doing good work on behalf of others without sacrificing yourself in the process.

Our program is based on the idea that you don’t have to deal with your trauma, anxiety and depression alone.

You don’t have to deal with your trauma, anxiety and depression alone. Our program is based on the idea that you can get help. There is a solution! You can get better.

The program is designed specifically for firefighters and first responders because they are more likely than most people in society to experience traumatic events at work. In addition, firefighters often feel a sense of responsibility towards others when they respond to emergencies such as fires or car accidents where people may be injured or killed (or worse). This feeling can make it difficult for them to deal with their own feelings about what happened; this includes feelings like guilt or anger towards themselves or others involved in the incident – even if there was nothing else they could’ve done differently under those circumstances.

You don’t have to feel alone in dealing with your struggles.

As a firefighter or first responder, you know that the line between life and death is a thin one. You know that the trauma of your job can be overwhelming and terrifying.

You don’t have to feel alone in dealing with your struggles. We have a specialized PTSD, Anxiety, Depression Program for Firefighters and First Responders based on the idea that you don’t have to deal with your trauma, anxiety and depression alone.
